We are back at it, and we have decided to start going to festivals. We are staring with the Dillon, “Festival in the Park” We will be right by the stage for both days.
Skiveers is moving for mud season. We will be closed from May 11th thorough June 11th.
Thanks for a great Winter season, we’ll see everyone in the Summer.
FYI- our Town of Frisco restaurant permit for the food cart is mobile even though we have a full comissary kitchen inside, so we have agreed to move it in the off-seasons to prove that it is, in fact, mobile. This is our time to move it, take a breath and get ti ready for next season.
Congratulations to this month’s star employee, Katie, for getting into a Burton video with Mikkel Bang. I think that makes her famous for more than her ability to cook abelskivers. Everyone knows Burton and knows they have great riders; Mikkel is no exception.
The video isn’t going into one of their promos or films until November; free Skiveers for the first person to find the Burton video in the Fall. If you don’t know Mikkel, check out the video below.
Mikkel doesn’t do much tweeting, but when he does it looks like this:

When we first went to open the restaurant, the town was a buzz with questions and we hardly knew how to answer them. take a look at tehi Summit Daily Article that showed how new we were at it.
Local bartender and Skiveer fan, the famous moustache named Kevin stopped by the shop today and ordered a Skiveer of his own invention. Kevin requested a Havarti, tomato sauce, pepperoni pizza Skiveer with Blueberry and white chocolate dessert Skiveer’s for dessert. Kevin works at the Backcountry Brewery, so when you’re done eating Skiveers, stop by the bar and have a brew.
Closing weekend for Breckenridge and Copper Mountain, you would think the world would be sad, but, between giddy tourists in shorts and snowboard gear, seasonal employees looking to relax after a long and busy season, well, the place gets downright rowdy.
Take a look at the closing weekend details in this article by the Summit Daily News. And, when you need some food, stop by Skiveers.
Breckenridge Spring Fever Festival
Breckenridge, April 21-27
It’s Summit County’s largest Spring fesival and it goes on daily for the whole week. Blues Traveler already played, and more bands are in the works. Check out Peak 8 Base Area ot the T- Bar Restaurant, 1599 Ski Hill Rd. The biggest spring party in the Rocky Mountains is back. All the ski areas vie for user participation (tourist money dollars), Vail had Steel Pulse, Copper has something all the time, but Breck gets to combine the town and ski area into a great party atmosphere.
When you are done or need a break from all the fun, Breckenridge has great restaurants, but none are as good ro memorable as coming to Frisco and trying Skiveers, stop by and try one.
Frisco Annual Egg hunt on Easter
And when you’re done, stop by Skiveers and have some tasty Skiveer Balls (which we will attempt to make egg shaped for the day)
The great band Bl;ues traveler is coming to Breckenridge today for Closing Weekend at 2 pm. at the base of Peak 8 across from Ski Hill One. This great band is known for its legendary Colorado performaces. This article came out from the Summit Daily recently. Why not stop by Skiveers before the show?
